MUDGEE.
Tuesday evening.
At the Mudgee Quarter Sessions, Charles Hamilton for stealing money, pleaded guilty; Bennis Shea, for highway robbery under arms, was found guilty; Charley, [aka Charlie] an aboriginal, for indecent assault, was found guilty; Thomas Middleton, for horse stealing not guilty; James Williams and Samuel Street, for stealing from a dwelling, a verdict of guilty of receiving against both prisoners was returned; John Lachlan, for cattle stealing, was acquitted; Patrick McGrath, for sheep stealing, was found guilty.
