INDECENT ASSAULT.
Robert West was indicted for that he, on the 28th August, 1872, at Bathurst, did unlawfully and indecently assault one Jane Smook [aka Snook].
The evidence in this case was reported in the columns of this paper on Saturday last, and no fresh evidence was elicited at the present examination. It is therefore unnecessary to republish the facts of the case.
The jury, after hearing the evidence, without leaving the box, returned a verdict of Guilty.
Remanded for sentence.
The Court adjourned until nine o’clock on Friday morning.
