    John King, a groom, was committed for trial on a charge of indecent assault upon a boy.

CENTRAL POLICE COURT.
TUESDAY.

    BEFORE Messrs Day, Woods, and Evans.

    John King was committed for trial at the Quarter Sessions on the charge of having indecently assaulted Albert Magnus, a boy of twelve. Bail allowed in £50, with two sureties in £25 each.

COURT OF QUARTER SESSIONS.

    The Metropolitan Court of Quarter Sessions was opened yesterday morning, Mr District Court Judge Dowling presiding. Mr WJ Foster prosecuted for the Crown.

    The jury list was called over, and John George Cousins, commission agent, Marrickville, was fined 40s. For non-attendance.

    There were similar results [acquittal] in the case of John King, charged with indecent assault;

INDECENT ASSAULT.

    John King was charged with indecently assaulting a lad about 13 years of age named Albert Magnus.  The jury after hearing the evidence acquitted the prisoner.
