LARCENY AND OTHER CRIMES. 2
Frederick Alexander Wilson, 22, labourer and Charles Thomas Taylor, 18, reporter, pleaded guilty to stealing two suitcases and a quantity of other goods, the property of Thomas Baptie Burrell, in the dwelling-house of Flora Hilley at Neutral Bay on May 3; also to demanding money by menaces from Florence Sellman, with intent to steal, at Sydney, on May 12. On a charge of breaking and entering the dwelling-house of Edith Bennett at Greenwich, on May 7, and stealing a very large quantity of goods, Taylor pleaded guilty to the first count, and Wilson to stealing. Wilson also pleaded guilty to stealing a revolver, the property of Cecil Francis Morrison, in the dwelling-house of Madeline Morrison, at Stanmore, on May 6.
Both prisoners were remanded for sentence.

SENTENCED.
Frederick Alexander Wilson, 22, labourer and Charles Thomas Taylor, 18, reporter, who both pleaded guilty last Friday to demanding money by menace and force from Florence Sellman, at Sydney on May 12; and to stealing in a dwelling-house at Greenwich on May 17, [sic] were called up for sentence. Wilson also pleaded guilty to stealing in another house at Stanmore on May 6. The prisoners were each sentenced to three years’ imprisonment with hard labour in Bathurst Gaol on each charge, concurrent.

CONVICTED of having committed a serious crime on a boy aged 15 years, at Petersham, between August 31 and September 29, Cecil Francis Morrison was sentenced at Darlinghurst Sessions to twelve months’ imprisonment.
Judge Curlewis in passing sentence, suggested that accused might be medically examined and placed in an institution.

SERIOUS OFFENCE.
Cecil Francis Morrison, 30, storeman, was convicted of committing a serious offence upon a boy, [Wallace Bruce McDougall]. The jury made a strong recommendation to mercy on account of accused’s war service. 6 The prisoner was sentenced to 12 months’ imprisonment in an institution, where he might be examined.
Mr Mack, KC, with him Mr Sproule (instructed by Messrs RD Meagher and Co), appeared for the accused.
