Tuesday, September 4.

Reuben Hayes, assault, occasioning actual bodily harm; John Sharburn [aka John Sherburn], indecent behaviour; Daniel Green, maliciously injuring property; Eugene Lampson and Sylvester Barnett, robbery with violence.

METROPOLITAN QUARTER SESSIONS.

    Mr WL Merewether, Crown Prosecutor.

ACQUITTED.

    John Sherburn pleaded not guilty to a charge of indecency at Potts Point on August 12. Mr ER Abigail appeared for the defence. The jury found a verdict of not guilty, and accused was discharged.

    The Court adjourned till 10 am next day.

ACQUITTALS.


    John Sherburn pleaded not guilty to a charge that on August 12, at Potts Point, Sydney, he did perform an illegal act in view of various persons. Mr ER Abigail appeared for accused. The jury returned a verdict of not guilty, and accused was discharged.
