QUARTER SESSIONS.
Tuesday, March 26.
(Before his Honor Judge Fitzhardinge).

    Mr J Armstrong prosecuted for the Crown; Lieut-Col Chisholm, PM, represented the Sheriff, and Mr HS Bingle acted as Clerk of the Peace.

JUROR FINED.

    Alfred Broadhead was fined £2 for non-attendance as a juror.

INDECENT ASSAULT.

    James Hill pleaded guilty to indecently assaulting a boy, [ William Thomas Leslie Newton, 14] , at Fairy Meadow. Sentenced to nine months’ hard labor in Darlinghurst Gaol.

QUARTER SESSIONS.

    The sittings of the Criminal Court of the South Coast district began in Wollongong, on Tuesday, Judge Fitzhardinge presiding. Mr J Armstrong acted as Crown Prosecutor.

SENTENCES.


    James Hill, indecent assault on a male person. Prisoner stated that he had been drinking during the day. Sentenced to nine months’ hard labor in Darlinghurst Gaol.
