Mr H Harris prosecuted for the Crown.
A SERIOUS OFFENCE.
Frederick James Towell, an elderly man, pleaded not guilty to a charge of having, on October 22, at Sydney [Prince Alfred Park] committed a serious offence [exposed his person]. He was undefended, but after a brief retirement the jury found him guilty. He was remanded for sentence, leave being given him to produce evidence of character.

Mr Herbert Harris, Crown Prosecutor.
Frederick James Towell, aged about 38, pleaded not guilty to a charge of having on October 22, at Sydney, committed a serious offence against decency. Accused was undefended. The jury found the accused guilty, and he was remanded for sentence, permission being given him to produce evidence of character.
