At the CENTRAL POLICE COURT, yesterday, the Bench, in the Crime Court, was occupied by the Police Magistrate, with Messrs Hughes, Gorus, Solomon, W Fowler, Neale, Callaghan, and Booth.
Edward Porter [aka Edward Stanley] was convicted of having, in Hyde Park, on Tuesday afternoon, offended against decency, and of having on the way to the station-house, made use of obscene language, and for each offence was sentenced to pay a penalty of £5, or to be imprisoned three months.
