    The undermentioned Appeals from Magistrate’s convictions will be heard at the Court Room, Queen’s-square, at 10 am: Alexander Murray Toyne, refusal to accept hiring; James Whalan, goods in custody; James William Ryan, suspected person; Arthur Reed, assault and damage; William Sparrow, false pretences.

    Judge Cohen presided at the Sydney Quarter Sessions, and Mr AV Maxwell was Crown prosecutor.

 Albert Edward Dixon pleaded guilty to a charge of outrageous conduct, [buggery with Horace Charles Wade, 14], at Five Dock, on December 27. Mr Dawes appeared for Dixon, who was remanded for sentence.

PLEA OF GUILTY.

    Albert Edward Dixon pleaded guilty to having committed a gross offence at Five Dock on December 27. Mr Dawes appeared for Dixon, who was remanded for sentence.

    At the Darlinghurst Sessions Judge Cohen passed the following sentences:—

    Albert Edward Dixon, who pleaded guilty to a charge of indecent assault at Five Dock, five years’ penal servitude in Grafton Gaol.
