Alan Johnstone [aka Alfred Johnson] and John Morrisey [aka John Morrison] were acquitted on a serious charge. Mr ER Abigail defended Morrisey and Mr Clifton Penny appeared for Johnstone.

Alan Johnstone, [35], and John Morrissey, [19], pleaded not guilty to a charge of indecent conduct, [buggery], at Sydney on December 27 last. Mr ER Abigail appeared for Morrissey and Mr Clifton Penny for Johnstone. The jury acquitted the accused, and they were discharged from custody.
